Dodge City Concrete driver honored as KRMCA Driver of the Year

Driver of the Year Award

Miguel Casasola, a driver with Dodge City Concrete, was recently awarded the Driver of the Year award from the Kansas Ready Mixed Concrete Association and the Kansas Aggregate Producers Association. The honor is awarded annually to recognize and acknowledge the contributions that drivers make to the concrete industry in Kansas.

The Driver of the Year award is judged on a number of criteria, including perfect attendance during the judging period, no “at fault” accidents, no out-of-service violations on truck inspections, a good “driver safety” attitude, a consistently clean truck, and a record of community service.

“We’re so proud of Miguel and so thankful he’s a part of the Dodge City Concrete team,” said George Tyler, president. “Keeping our commitment to our customers depends greatly on the product getting to the job site safely and on time—and delivered by someone who’s an expert in the industry. Miguel is simply one of the best drivers around.”

Casasola received the honor, which included a plaque and cash award, at a special ceremony during the KRMCA’s annual convention in Olathe, Kansas, on Jan. 10.
